Americans have for the last year been struggling and overcoming the sense of permanent impermanence. The idea that covid has restructured the ways in which we navigate society and our interactions with both strangers and with loved ones and how we may hope for a future that brings back a type of normalcy we once took for granted we must also continue to do our best with the means in which we currently have to stay connected. I would like to share a bit of redirection that you might find inspiring. Hopefully you get a sense of gratitude, for even those these are hard times for Americans and the world there have long been stories of humans overcoming struggles and finding peace in their own sense of normalcy. LensCulture recently released a story called Utopia Photographs by Sebastian Wells Text by Magnus Pölcher I suggest reading it, immersing your senses in the haunting beauty of others who face struggles but whom do not give in to their dire situations but who continue to live and love life for all it might offer.. “….Wells met many people who he identified with, who left a profound impression on him with their incredible resourcefulness to survive and even establish some form of normality.” https://www.lensculture.com/articles/sebastian-wells-utopia?fbclid=IwAR2WJ_76HUMOD37oWm20oq4_euIzPiCVcLWiGBYS301L5eHHIzoaPTs1Or4
